Method and calculation rules
Aligned share = labeled aligned hours ÷ discretionary hours; target gap uses your own percentage.
Display values are rounded for readability. The calculation uses the entered numbers before display rounding. Whole-unit outputs use the rounding rule stated in the method.
Know your inputs
- Discretionary hours in period — Accepted range: 0.01 to 1000000.
- Hours you label values-aligned — Accepted range: 0 to 1000000.
- Your target share (%) — Accepted range: 0 to 100.
